PoppyPink Poppies
Designed in conjunction with the PoppyPink minimalist performance by Lilac Madar, these poppies serve as a symbol of solidarity, hope, and remembrance.
The minimalist performance marking the one-year memorial of October 7th takes place on Sunday, October 27th in NYC. If you are able to attend, you are encouraged to collect unraveled yarn from Lilac's dress and use it to knit or crochet poppies. If you cannot attend, please make poppies in hot pink and wear them in solidarity.
$3 USD for each pattern sold will go to Lilac to cover production costs for the PoppyPink performance.
If you prefer, you may donate directly to PoppyPink via this link: https://give.thejewishmuseum.
About the pattern:
- Uses worsted weight yarn
- There are tutorial videos that are linked in the pattern for both the knit and crochet poppies.
- The patterns are written and charted for ease.
