
Plumosa Tee

Lace, short sleeves, flowers, and soft texture come to mind anytime I think about summer knits. I layer my tanks and tees over dresses and, on cooler days, jeans. For the Plumosa Tee, flowering vines and tall seaweed plants are the inspiration for the lace panel featured on the front of the piece. With a flattering A-line shape and a cap sleeve, this style is so comfortable and wearable!
Construction Details:
The Plumosa Tee is worked from the bottom up in the round in DK weight. At the sleeves, the piece is split in half for the front and the back. Each side is worked flat separately. Shoulders are seamed together.The lace patterns are provided in chart or written form.

Gauge: 22 stitches and 28 rounds = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch using size needle to obtain gauge.

Needles: US 5 (3.75 mm) 32”/81 cm and 24”/60 cm circular needles or size needed for gauge. US 4 (3.5 mm) 16”/40 cm circular needle and double pointed needles or one size smaller than size needed for gauge for armholes and collar edging. Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Yarn: 675 (775, 900, 1025, 1150)(1250, 1350, 1500, 1650) yards / 620 (710, 825, 940, 1055)(1145, 1235, 1375, 1510) meters of DK (CYCA #3) yarn. Fiber blends with cotton, silk, rayon, or linen are a great choice for this tee.
Sample made with Berroco Yarns “Cambria” (60% baby alpaca, 20% linen, 20% lyocell, 137 yds/125 meters per 50 g ball) 5 (6, 7, 8, 9)(10, 10, 11, 13) balls.
Other Materials: 4 stitch markers (one of a distinguishing color for BOR), long stitch holder or spare circular needle, tapestry needle.
