Experience Level: Advanced Beginner

My student Jill was ready to knit her first sweater, so I designed this beautiful one for her. When she completed knitting it, I knew immediately that the design needed to be made into a pattern for all knitters! The sweater pattern includes instructions for DK, Worsted, and Chunky weight gauges, so you can use whatever yarn you'd like.

Construction Details

Jill's First Sweater is a top-down pullover with a simple knit-and-purl texture on the front, back, collar, and cuffs. The sleeves are worked in Stockinette Stitch. The sweater is worked in separate pieces and then seamed. There is a complete seaming tutorial for this sweater on my YouTube channel here.
