Icicle Cowl

Swirling icicles dance around this chunky weight cowl.
Construction Details: This cowl is worked in the round from the bottom up. In the sample cowl, two colors were used and faded together in the middle of the cowl. The Swirling Lace pattern is charted as well as written in words.

Sizes: One size.
Finished measurements: 24”/60 cm circumference & 12.5”/32 cm length
Gauge: 13 stitches and 20 rows = 4”/10 cm in Swirling Lace stitch, using size needle to obtain gauge.
Needles: US 10.5 (6.5 mm) 24”/60 cm circular needle or size needed for gauge. Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Yarn: 190 yards of chunky weight (CYCA #5) yarn. Sample made with Yarn Snob “A Blissful Bulky” (100% Superwash Merino, 97 yds /100 g). 1 skein Snow Drifts and 1 skein Winter Sunset
Other Materials: stitch marker, tapestry needle.
