Product Details

*Experience Level: Intermediate*

Inspired by a trip to Maine in late summer, the Coastal Cowl is a lacy bandana cowl with textural stripes. Garter stitch, bobbles, three different lace patterns, and ribbing splash throughout this soft knit that looks lovely layered under a jacket or over a long sleeve top. An optional beaded picot is worked in the bind off.

The Coastal Cowl is an advanced beginner to intermediate knit, and the pattern includes tutorial video links for many techniques that might be new to a knitter, plus a photo tutorial for the beading technique used in the bind off.

*Construction Details*

This cowl is worked flat in one piece from the top center towards the outer edge. After completing the knitting, the cowl is seamed together to form a loop. The bottom edge has an optional beaded edging. Lace patterns are charted as well as written in words.
