Experience Level: Beginner
The Burrow Snood is a cozy hooded cowl, meant to keep you warm on chilly days. It can be worn completely around the neck as a slouchy cowl, or half of the piece can be pulled up over the head to keep your ears toasty. An easy knit, the Burrow Snood includes tutorial video links for any techniques that might be new to a knitter.
Construction Details
This cowl is made in one piece. Stitches are cast on for the bottom edging and joined in the round. A simple knit/purl checkerboard pattern is worked. To separate the bottom half from the top, a few rounds of a puffy reverse stockinette are worked before finishing off the cowl in Stockinette Stitch and a ridged band.
