Bubblicious Hat
Skill level: Intermediate
Bubbles, bobbles, eyelets, and polka-dots adorn this cozy hat in three colors of worsted weight. Choose two solid colors and one multicolor or textural yarn to create a bubblicious knit all your own! This hat was designed as a companion to the Bubblicious Cowl, which was a part of my annual Mystery Cowl Knit Along, which takes place December 26-January 1st.
Construction Details:
The hat is worked in the round from the bottom to the crown. Tutorial videos are provided for many of the techniques in the cowl.

Yarn:
2 colors of worsted weight (CYCA #4) yarn and 1 color of a textured yarn that is a DK (CYCA #3) or worsted weight (CYCA #4) in the following yardage amounts:
Color A – 85 yards worsted weight. Color suggestions: solid or subtle tonal.
Color B – 50 yards of textural yarn in a DK or worsted weight. Fingering weight (CYCA #1) yarn held together with a laceweight mohair also work well as a combination. Color suggestions: solid, tonal, self-stripe, hand paint, or multicolor.
Color C – 50 yards worsted weight. Color suggestions: solid or subtle tonal.

Color A: Malabrigo Yarns “Rios” (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 210 yds/100 g) 1 ball in 212 - Gris.
Color B - 2 yarns held together:
Chelsea Yarns “Cobblestone” (90% Superwash Merino, 10% Nylon; 436 yds/100 g) 1 ball in Buttercream.
and
Chelsea Yarns “Luxe Mohair” (72% Kid Mohair, 28% Silk; 459 yds/skein)1 ball in Stonewash.
Color C: Plymouth Yarns “Galway” (100% Wool; 219 yds/100 g) 1 ball 008 – Bleach.
Gauge: 4.5 stitches and 6 rounds = 1” in stockinette stitch.
Finished measurements: approximately 21”/53.5 cm circumference x 9.5”/24 cm deep
Needles: US 7 (4.5 mm) 16”/40 cm circular needle and DPN or size needed to obtain gauge and US 6 (4 mm) 16”/40 cm circular needle or one size smaller than size needed to obtain gauge.
